The good news is- it can't possibly be more of a slug than their previous cats! Lol

That is a great looking boat, I know that the new owner has ben planning the construction of this boat for close to a year.

OL clearly have a well diversified factory, with talent to produce: state of the art V bottom pleasure boats, current race boats, kilo record holder boats, and now this closed canopy cat.

Congrats to the new owner, and will be excited to watch it perform at the LOTO for shootout, in a few weeks

Here's quote from Mike Fiore that ran in a feature in the July/August 2013 issue of Speed On The Water digital magazine:

"(Long pause) I think it was a struggle from the standpoint that we paid a designer, Michael Peters, to give us plans for a cat but then we had to figure out the rest on our own. I mean, we spent a lot of money on the design and blueprint but all the rest of the bits and pieces to make it work didn’t come with it. The V-bottoms are easy—I’ve done a lifetime of V-bottoms. But the first cat was a bit of a learning curve for us."

Rarely is a boat builder this candid.

What they learned, plus having Steve Curtis involved with their catamaran program is big. The early numbers are promising and positive.
