Mercury is a good company that makes much of ALL this Boating Stuff possible, a backbone of the boating industry, a stalwart constant in quality and innovation, off of which many boutique companies branch...
The opposite of "fly by night", and they have not succumbed to "Cult of Personality" where the originator/s die or fade away and the company dies off...Mercury Endures!
Costs a good penny as do most worthwhile things, but there are those who can pay it NEW and to them we are thankful...some of us buy as subsequent buyers and the quality still carries. Nothing lasts forever and nothing is perfect but...
