that never should have happened to that boat. Donzi should have been willing to fix it the first time they saw a picture of it.

If that happened to an outerlimits or skater don't you think they would have either fixxed it immediately or bought the boat back and destroyed it.

As for eth lack of BB comments. I woudlbe willign to say part of eth agreement was that he shut his mouth. His old webpage showing the damage seems to be owned by donzi now.

I'm glad he fixxed it and I'm glad donzi took care of a problem that never should have occured.

If you can stand by your products its a good thing
customer service is a very important part of your reputation
I tell you this from either getting or giving good customer service.
example I bought a wireless card from INTEL it quits 10 months later I call they give me a rma# boom send em my card then get a new on back. IM Happy!
Now I also Have some road cases manufactured my SKB
I've had a few latch failers, I call the 800 line boom! 3 day later
new latches. these kind of experiences will keep me a customer of those companies.

I know that the boat are a bigger ticketed item so I see
there is a slight difference in this kind of comparison.

Good job Donzi!
There is a lesson for manufactures to learn. If it's a problem that will cost you customers you need to step up to the plate. I don't know the whole story. It would have been a great customer relation’s story if the manufacture stepped up to the plate in the first place and fixed the problem. To see a post like Donzi goes out of there way to fix my boat. I like to see good things and not hear about people getting taken. I'm very happy to see the issue was resolved but wish it had happened a long time ago. Just my .02

Say what you want about Donzi but several years ago early 90's I had a similiar problem and Donzi stepped up to the plate and took the boat back.

Donzi,
Good work. You went above and beyond what was necessary.

Blister-boy should've posted Donzi's response.
Thanks ajs67Donzi for letting us know what happened.

Nice to see a manufacturer stand behind their product. I don't know all the details, but nice to see Donzi step up to the plate. Also it appears, they went above & beyond to fix all the other items that they took care of. I don't think some of the big name custom builders would have done all of this, especially with age of the boat.

Blisters are a wierd thing and even very smart scientists can't totally agree on how they happen. Nonetheless, if a dealers got a demo that's 3 years old, I will be running in the opposite direction as fast as I can.
