Unfortunately no one witnessed this attempt and being a man of honor I would never let anyone bear false witness . His family also live around him and enable this behavior . I need to move after living here for 40 years .

It's one thing to have a couple of morons battling it out, it's another when someone tosses a hook deliberately at you. You get hooked in the eye, neck, schvick, whatever and there's big trouble. It's one thing being tough behind a keyboard but it would have been hard for me not to discuss this man-to-man if I was the recipient. I get the litigious society, lawyers, assault charges but this would have been hard not to confront.
