Class C2S2 (?)
86.0 2 Ralph Ulmer Bud's Place 79.0 1 Hugh Morris Hugh Morris Not as good as what I thought I should be able to do :( but considering that I have never done anything more to these motors but change fluids and still running the same prop as the day I bought it, not to bad for an amatuer of LOTO :) great job to all the other people that ran alot of people where not getting the top end that wanted, like we ever do :) , even the big guns just was not hiting it. hot and very HUMID was the weekend air. well I am off here cause now I need to rest once again burnt like a lobster :( hummm, 9 more days to go down here :) btw TRAVIS and others requestong a smaller class there already is one :) its PWC :) I would not like to be anywhere around to see a 18' boat running 95 MPH at LOTO :( talk about flying to the MOON. :( Hell, I think my boat is to small at 28' |

WOW,
I didn't realize that there were so many classes! Congrats to Callan Marine, and Marine Performance! It looks like you guys accomplished everything that you wanted to! http://www.callanmarine.com/ Cosker, I tried calling you on Sat. (6:00 PM), Ally and I were down on Bird Island, she was gathering Hemit crabs off the sand bar. I talked to Mrs. C. and she said someone asked for your autograph!! That cracks me up! Wish we could of been there! Oh well, we stayed home and preped for our 3rd Annual Labor day TIKI bar PARTY! JC, Don't forget my Raw water pump rebuild kit, when you guys come down for the party! MD:D |
Well I wish I could have been in the right class. I should have been in V3F2 but because my 500 hps didn't have the seals on them after they were freshened this past winter. I never cared cause I never planned on racing the boat. If I was in the right class I would have had fastest speed by 1 mph. Oh well it was still fun. BTW I ran 81.9 on gps.

Who won Top Gun?
|
Miss Bud won top gun @192. From a spectator's view point it looked like Callan was going to take it away from David Scott , so the Bud folks brought in a ringer.
Don't get me wrong, it was a good show but no one was actually expecting Miss Bud to compete. I think that will be detrimental to the shootout drawing support of big out of state entries like Callan in the future. My .02 I hope Powerboat Magazine steps up and gives Callan some of the coverage they deserve. Those guys put up a good fight. |
The BUD
Any one have a photo of the Bud??
