I must not be an engineer, because I made the part easily removable without the need to remove other parts or de-rig the entire boat! Lol

That would be a permanent fix at some of the marinas I've dealt with in my neck of the woods. Requesting a follow up photo in 6 months. Just kidding ,Safe boating to ya!!!

I screwed a one of those white plastic lawn chairs to the deck of a boat I rebuilt because my seats had not come in yet. You gotta do what ya gotta do.

You're on the water and not in the shop. That's good.

I made somebody else's day yesterday too. I skipped running the Detroit River/LSC to gawk at SkaterFest, and hit Holloway Resevoir with my grandfather.... Normally when somebody asks to drive my boat/bike/car, I tell them they can drive after they drop their wife for a test run. But, since his wife is my grandmother, that would have been creepy and wrong on so many levels, so when he asked to pilot yesterday, I let him.

You missed a pretty good show on the river, but hanging with gramps sounds like it was fun too. That arch, looks exactly like the one mounted atop my Concept. I see the bungie cord around the top to keep it from bouncing/rattling. I used some big double sidded Velcro strapping around it two places on each side to hold mine in place. If yours rattles half as much as mine did...... Good looking boat.

I would hire someone with that kind of ingenuity to work for me in a heartbeat! Hard to find people that think outside the box to solve a problem in a hurry.
