We have used this Terro stuff - I believe we purchased it ACE Hardware and it worked wonderful.

I know what you mean - those little buggers go everywhere and a royal pain.

Also - I don't know if this is an urban legend or not but Downy Dryer Sheets I've read seem to get rid of spiders- they smell good too

Heard about the downy sheets in another thread for spiders not sure about ants.

If I see anymore tonight when I get home I'm gonna run my air compressor hose and blast the heck out of every little nook and cranny. Hopefully the shear wind force will kill them or get them out.

The homemade remedy for ants is the same as crabs....
Only 3 things are required.
A fork, a lighter, and charcoal fluid.
Douse half of affected area with charcoal fluid.
Use lighter to light charcoal fluid.
When crabs/ants run from flame, stab them repeatedly with fork.

This solution makes one seriously re-evaluate the cause(s) of the first infestation. YMMV.

Seriously though, Terro works well for ants, and Sevindust makes a liquid for just about everything else, but I'd only use it on the dock area.

Found this a under my rub rail a few seasons ago. Luckily they didn't make it inside the boat. Ant spray and a shop vac took care of them.
