I have been looking for a boat for a while now. I had two deals lined up and both times the seller backed out! First one was a 1989 baja 250 sport with a 454 magnum and the other was an outlaw 24. Considering a formula 242 ls, but the wife is not crazy about the classic look.

Looking for a single engine boat with a mag motor in the 24-27' range. Of course no alpha drives. Doesn't have to be a baja. Just seems that what I come across. Needs to have a cuddy. No CC's. I know 10K is a small budget for this hobby, but this is my first performance boat and I need to get my feet wet. I have cash.

The boat will be used in the chesapeake bay and the various rivers. I am willing to travel to get a good deal. The tow vehicle is an 04 Sierra with a 5.3 vortech. I will only be towing the boat a couple miles during normal use.

Anybody want to give me a good deal. Might be able to increase budget a couple grand if my bike sells this week.

I wish it was that simple my friend! Like I said I have somebody coming to look at my bike this week and that should put my budget up to 13K. The wife is a teacher and not exactly compensated well. Trying to do what I can with what I have.

I know. Wish I could get an AT 25. I just need something to play around with and see if it's something I will use. I am notorious for getting into a hobby and losing interest.

buy an older donzi 21 or 22 minx or 24 cig splash or similar, a cabin in a boat that small isnt of much use

The cabin will be mainly for my 2 year old sun to get out of the son (haha).

Look for any 24x7. You can get a nice one in that price range
