Correct.

The turbine MTI was only delivered a few days before the Shootout(2006) and he made a couple 1/2 course exhibition passes.
He sold it(over seas I believe) before it was ever really dialed in.

You know it was a shame the boat didn't perform to Dave's expectations, they had ALOT of leading edge technologies in the boat.....

Question.....do they have to back up the run? In NHRA they have to back up a record breaking run within 10% to prove the pass wasn't a fluke.

I would say the 210 with shoots out prior is a big backer.

Simple answer though is no, no one before had to either.

Only takes one run. It is not a kilo run.

That run might be more impressive than the 244 run!

Hey dean, we're about 30 minutes north of Malibu on the beach if you get down this way let me know. Doors always open to a fellow OSO'r

Will you be in KW? We'll be down there would love to buy you a drink. Just text with John a couple days ago joking about standing at the tree bar all weekend again. Seems that's always where we end up every night it seems. Lol

You know a mystic vs Mti may come to fruition ...we all know what my way is ..and his son (Ron) runs a 1100 turbos in his Mti ...

I wonder what it is that really separates them all that level...please don't say inches!
