Industry Figure Carey Downs Dies In Boating Accident

Stu and Jackie Jones of the Florida Powerboat Club sent us the following message regarding the tragic death of Carey Woods last night and asked us to post it:
"This is simply devastating to Jackie and I, and certainly all of the Florida Powerboat Club family. Virtually thousands of powerboaters and FPC members from across the nation are in shock over this tragic incident. Many of us met and dealt with Carey for so many years during his employment with David Woods, and outside of the professional side of the boat business, Carey was just down to earth guy with such a positive friendly personality, and he was fun to hang out with! Jackie and I did not know Jeremy well, but of course we are very close with Marsha and this is just a horrible incident for her and for all of the Counce TN clan to get through. Our hearts and prayers are with all of you!"
