Classic Marathon/Faro Blanco race pics. What year?
Not sure what year this was but it is certainly when I caught the racing bug. My parents kept a place at Faro Blanco and we always went down for this event. My mom found these yesterday in an old box.

I am thinking that these pixs are from a couple of different years because the canopy on Kaiser's cougar is from his second boat so that would be 1990

ryan... I agree can you read the name on his boat ? Maybe those canapy's where short lived on his first boat.

acr systems was 1987, Bob says the lids were cut off after this race as it was the first race in 1987. Ben Kramer went to the joint a couple months later, they arrested him on the way to the airport for a race in Bay City in July 87. Hard to believe that was over 25 years ago.
