island party this weekend- Tampa FL
 

this is an invatation to all oso members runnin around tampa bay this weekend,live bands,lots of women,budweisers one of the sponsors just like us......hope to see yall out there......this was a blast last year.....LIVE ON THE BAY 2002....beer can island located near apollo beach.8-31-02,saturday allday!!!!!

I've heard great things about this event. I missed it last year, unfortunately! I'd love to check this out.

Any advice about approaching beer can island. There's been a LOT of dredge work over that way recently. :cool:

baja daze....you shouldnt have any problems at all....we should be set up behind the stage....north side of the island...if you pull up on the north all the way around to the south side just watch your depth within 10-20 yards out.....make sure the word gets out ....the more people,the more fun......and be safe

where is this ?? what would be the closest ramp to beer can Island ?

nearest ramp would be either williams park,which is located at US41 and the alafia river....take I-75 to gibsonton drive and head west to 41,hang a right and go over the bridge and the ramp is located directly on the left......get there early,early,early,last year there were boats all the way out on 41.....hope to see ya there...this is a blast!!!!! when you get in the water,head west again(careful,last year they had moved a no wake sign and got another donation from me) till you get out into tampa bay,you should be out to the markers that turn left (it tees into another main shipping channel) go left and you should be parralell with a spoil island, head straight to the next island and your there .....we run the purple and white Warlock -F1-52 Offshore Addiction, not accually to far at all....
