I just fell if you want to find out the fastest boat pound for pound and best driver/throttle man are you would make everything equal. Take out the chance of being beat by a motor.

I don't care who builds the motor. Just make sure ecery single bone comes from the same person. Period. Why is that so difficult?

I prefer something with some kind of return on investment. Though I can say that in my previous racing career, being sponsored by a chiropractor was an excellent decision..

Indmar is making noises with ls platforms and ford roush platforms. Though their main buisness is tow boat etc, they have expressed interest in performance.

I understand totally and agree with you, however I'll use the Mercury 525EFI as an example, same motor, same bones as you say but they vary in hp from 540 all the way to just over 600 and yes this is stock from the same factory.. You are correct but unfortunately a variance has to be implemented due to this problem...
