With all the repairs, time, and money would it not be better just to buy one that does not need anything? I feel mine is in great shape but I still find stuff I want to upgrade lights, stereo, instruments, ect.

They ALL need SOMETHING. It's par for the course when afflicted by the boating disease.
15 minutes in a brand new boat and you'll still find 3 things you want to change/improve/alter.

I will be adding 144 B&M blowers to my SBC's, reworking heads, new props, and normal winter maintenance.

Have the port drive that blew the bottom out on our last weekend in the water rebuilt. Have strainers installed and impatiently wait for spring.

I've got to finish this monster stroker motor first along with our coal miners memorial project and not to mention my living room is down to studs . Then if Bob M will still talk to me I have a nice BDS 871 looking for a home in my engine bay .
