Can you tell me how do I get to the seawater pumps. The boat has twin 454mercruiser engines

Youtube "mercruiser impeller" there are a few videos showing you exactly how to do it.

I think you might have to take the back seat out.

removing the back seat gets you nothing on the 290,,for the port side,remove the alternator and bracket to get to impeller housing,,the starboard side you can get to ,,its tight but thats about the only way..
