Thank you Jim Styke - Jim Kid Motorsports
This post was a long time coming.
We at Reindl Powerboats and Early Detection Racing would like to throw out a big THANK YOU to Jim and his shop. He took our boat in one week before the start of the 2014 racing season and was able to get the new Ilmor MV8 570 powerplant installed in our boat in less than a week.
All season long he kept us in races no matter what happened and how long past closing time it took. That persistence led our team to a National and World Championship in OPA this year.
Just this past Sunday before the race, we completely shattered a drive, bell housing, gimbal, coupler... the whole works. We drove through the night again, showing up early Monday Morning, and he had us out the door Wednesday in time to get to our lease customer in time for training for the race.
Thank you Jim, for a great season, and help in teaching my top three crew guys, Mat Burt, Tom Vogel and Riley Neal - what it means to work hard to acheive team goals.
Thank you,
Chris, Lee Ann, Matt, Tom, & Riley
