thx all for your responses. I probably wont look for a cause for the listing now since it seems like it may be a characteristic of the boat itself.

Lots of talk about water problems here.....water under cabin step ends up around the tank.

"We have had a few guys on these threads say that it also came from under the cockpit floor. So if your boat is dry and you drop the bow low then that is were I would look. Other places that guys have found it from the hatches, windsheild, and rub rail."

Mine was built in 88 - first Bush era, still leans left.

I have three batteries on the starboard side, along with the helm and fridge. Boat never stays in the water, doesn't take on water, and has been stored on a trailer its whole life, so if it's wet somewhere, it would come as a surprise for me.

Never found mine to lean but I don't have a gen or 5gal holding tank in engine compartment, also never had water issues as mentioned.
