Damn, I loved that black Ferrari too! The white Testarosa wasn't as cool.

Nay, Phantom...
The car was not a Ferrari. It was a Daytona fiberglass kit car on a Vette base. The pic you posted shows it as good as any I've seen. Look closely at: 1) The seats and the way they are sectioned to fold forward (the Italian Stallion's seats I don't think they fold forward at all). 2) Center console (the side-handle '74 - '77 e-brake) 3) Windshield and windshield header (all Vette). It was still cool, though. I had a '76 Vette and wanted to do the conversion to it - lack of funds stopped me (not lack of good taste). |
Miami Vice ruled! I probably still have a pair of white mesh shoes around here somewhere.:) I was told the black car was a Ferrari on a Vette chassis. I almost cried the episode they blew it up.

McCollinstin - You are 100% right.....it was a Vette. Damn...memories. I'll be honest, Miami Vice was the show that brought me into performance boating ! Wardey

I have a lot of the old shows on VHS. Love to watch them during the off months. Always end up staying up way too late to see the TV shows..... but the are worth it!!!
