Arguing over brands has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Haha it's just so dumb and pointless. We all know fountain is the best. Carry on.

Couple things. First, the single engine Activator was a great F-1 boat, and I mean great. It could not, however, under any circumstances, remotely touch any F-2 boat, let alone lap a Cigarette Gladiator, unless there was something terribly wrong with the F-2 boat or its crew.
Second, I have quite a bit of seat time in a number of the mentioned sit down boats, and my favorite, by far, is the ZRC. I owned a converted Super Vee that ran 97 as a pleasure boat with 525's, and it was boring to drive! Best handling boat in the rough or calm I've ever driven. Steve Simon flat out nailed the design. May he RIP.

Donzi 38 ZrComp - 525-700hp: With 700hp the boat will run 115 all day and you will not find a better balanced or handling V bottom boat. True 38' running surface.
Outerlimits 42 GTX - 1000hp & #6: Gives you 120mph with the heavy duty #6 hardware and the softer ride of a non epoxy boat. True 42' Running surface
Outerlimits SV Series - fastest sit downs made, great boats but the epoxy makes them very rigid and you feel it in the ride. This is just my opinion
Cigarette Gladiator - Great boat, rock solid to 100mph, perfect 525 boat. Almost 37' running surface.
Cigarette Maximus - huge sit down at 45', need lots of power, wave crusher. True 45' running surface
Fountain Poker Run - Great running boat but I am unfamiliar with their ride and handling. Roughly 38' running surface.

As for the 42 Fountain vs 38 ZRC argument, on a trip to Pier57 I was talking to Brett and he informed me their bottoms are VERY similar. He had both there in his inventory and encouraged me to check them side-by-side. His words were nearly the same bottom with one tweaked for straight line speed and the other tweaked for handling.
