Yes they were. Make sure you know what your talking about. They raced some in 98 and that video was 99 when they went swimming. They raced all 99. Even the worlds.

The guy that built White Lightening pulled a mold off a 38'cig made it a 41'. The mold ended up at kryptonite on Long Island. If you look on YouTube White Lightening has short center strakes.

I've almost called on this boat numerous times. There is no info out there that I can find except those 5-8 pics...
Wish I knew more info about it. And I wonder if the silly hardcore bs is a sticker.

At one point I believe that boat raced APBA Super Vee when we used Super Cat engines in the class. If I recall the boat ran pretty well, but that was more than 10 years ago now.

Search member "pbalbs" he is the owner I believe from his posts. Not a lot of info but some. Only has like 50 posts so not to hard to sort through. The hardcore is probably a decal cause boat used to race as "After Shock"

I can't comment on 1999 but in 2001 Activator and Kryptonite were the boats to beat in rough water. Go watch the Cape Cod race when it was so rough they only raced half the laps. Activator walked away, Typhoon's Kryptonite was second and no one else was close. In fact one Warlock quit it was so rough(one of the guys had a recent back injury).

That being said, none of the F1 boats were close to the F2 boats. I love the Activators and a 30 would be at the top of my list if I wanted a single engine boat. But, let's keep it real.

If it is still for sale, it's worth a look as it's in NJ.
Plenty of $ left over for a complete make over.

Would be nice to find out more about it.
