Dave not arguing with your point. I was having fun discussing what appeared to happen. That's all. A good discussion is healthy.

oh i know, its all good just trying to toss a little more perspective in the mix here. Having been there a number of times the starts can be hair raising, i can remember thirteen boats wide in St Clair what a blast but straight as an arrow across when the flag went. KW can be a real crazy start. They mill you in groups beyond the harbor turn then you have to follow each other in circles till the pace boat starts to move (while inside a canopy with very limited visibility. Once that happens you have to try and all get in line in a very short run to where the course pinches in then opens up to the run to turn one. Its almost always some boats bunched up / some boats behind / some boats trying to find their best position / then the flag flys all while this is going on (i purposely tried to wright that in a manor thats hard to follow . . . . because thats what it is lol) . . . . its nuts . . . . but my favorite part of the race. I just focus on the starters arm with the flag in it . . . as soon as it even flinches its ON lol.

KW has had to many tragedies to allow this type of **** to go on..

No, I don't expect it to happen, the racing associations are having enough problems getting fans and teams to participate in the sport as it is. But there should be some form of disciplinary action available to the association in events like this that they can use to enforce the rules.

No rules violated, therefore, no rules to enforce.
