This event was truely more than I expected. This was the first time that I attended this run and can not wait until next year. Long Beach is a great place to vacation and the organization of this event was unbelievable. Great people, great weather, great boats, great party, can't get much better than that! Well worth the travel time. Doug

D-Man,
It was good to meet you over the weekend. This was the 1st SCOPE poker run for us and we had a blast. It definitely lived up to the reputation. We participated in all of the activities over the weekend and never really had to stand in any lines because everything was running so well. Great job by everybody who organized the event. We're looking forward to the run next year.
Take it easy,
Greg

It was nice to meet you down there at SCOPE. High five to you and the guys for putting on a well thought out and well planned event. Unfortunetly we were unable to attend the actual poker run due to the back injury of one of our crew, we did attend all festivities before and after.
We hope to incorporate some of what we saw into our Teague sponsored poker run in Northern California. We would love to have you and the others come up.

Great Run
We want to say thanks to all the SCOPE board members and sponsors for hosting this event ... It was a great time. We ran the run in C2's 21' Hallet with no problem, (ok my butt still hurts!) Although we had the smallest boat out there, it was just a blast.
Ok, its time for all you poker runners to sign up for the Fall HeatWave poker run at Lake Havasu, Arizona
pdf application @ American Hot Boat Assoc.
online registration @ Lakeracer.com

Steamin Rice, Hot Water and the rest of our friends....thank you very much for the kind words and thank you for coming out and enjoying the fun. We were extremely pleased with the turnout, the weather and all the enthusiasm that was displayed by a great group of boaters. It was a lot of work and effort, but it was well worth it judging by everyone's reaction.
If you have attended the last few SCOPE poker runs, you would see that each year gets drastically better, so we are getting ready for the challenge of next year.
Remember to support our great sponsors....hard to believe that you got all that for $200!!!!!!!! It is the best deal of any poker run that I have heard or read about. We will see you guys next year and thank you again for being part of the action!!!!
DMan....and the D is for Dead tired!!!

D-Man, Jeffrey, Bada-Bing, Lu, DougieFresh, and all the rest...We had a blast. And thanks for helping us find that elusive key! Next year we will be there once again. All I have to do now is figure out how to win that $10,000 bucks.
