That looks rough! The gulf can get crazy. Even at my place off Tampa bay it gets really rough when the wind is blowing the wrong way.

Keep a PFD handy, the GOM can get nasty sometimes.

Not long after this picture was taken I was running in to the dock. Dead into the seas. This 150ft boat usually runs 10 knots. The wind and seas kept me to 8 at best. One massive set came through and I didn't take spray on my windshield but a solid wall of blue water. Ripped my stainless lifering holder right of front of cabin. Lol

Good times.

4 man total crew. 1 master 1 mate and 2 deckhands. 2 guys on each 12 hour watch. 36 ft beam.
