I've been employed here 20+ yrs not to mention rehired 1x & yet to have any announcement made by my employer yet Jeff's had 2 announcements & jobs in like 10 days!

Our world is much smaller than yours, and for better or worse, Jeff—through his work at Hering and Powerboat magazine—has become something of a public figure in it. Hence the reporting of his movement. Plus, both companies in question are big names in our small world.
