Default ** Back-in Boat Lift **

Anyone back in on a boat lift or have a back in style lift? I dont see much info on back in style lifts. mostly seem to be lake style lifts. i will be salt water in Jersey and my slip would work much better if i could back in

I used to back a Hydra-Sports 3300vx into a lift all the time. We didn't have enough bow clearance if I pulled in normally. I would raise the engine though and float it over.

I have a back on lift, find it easier for boarding and off loading. Don't know exactly what your question is but I prefer a backin.

What I would like to see is a back in style lift built like a forklift that attaches to the bulkhead, similar to the elevator style lifts but attached from the rear and no cross bunks needed. Nothing in the way when backing in. Seems like it would be a clean install, wonder why I have not seen this out there????
