stupid question

I'm posting this in General discussion because there is more traffic.

I have dead batteries. Can't access them because of the electric hatch. Tried charging them thru the back side of the battery switch located under the rear seat but with no success so they must be totally toast. So, the only option I see is to try and get the hatch off which doesn't seem to likely as your fighting a hydraulic cylinder. Any sugestions??

Any way to take 12 volts to the hatch switch ...via another battery and some small wire....kinda like a jumper cable on crack :D

Possible..I'll attempt that one. Thanks

Hook your battery charger the the hot side of the hatch switch and the ground buss bar. Then hit the switch.

Or, if you have more time. A lot of times the cigarette lighter isn't turned off by the batery switch. you can make a cigarette lighter adapter to hook to your charger leads. the trickle charge your battery.

I was able to get the hatch open, jumped the batteries and got the boat started...but....bad water pump, or loose belt:rolleyes: the most annoying squeal, hose wouldn't stay on the drive so no suction. Doesn't look good for trying to fix it today so I'm boatless for Grand Haven:mad:
