I have read in one of my boating magazines (''Boating '' I believe)that Alec Baldwin was playing Don Arronow. I Have also heard the movie has been put on the back burner. Would love to see it. But if you were not a performance boater or live in MIAMI, most people would not even know who Don Arronow was or what it was about.
Personally, I would love to see that movie, but you know the facts are gonna' get all messed up. In order for the film to make any money the 'studios' gotta' keep the "public" in mind. (Unless they are planning to sell the movie to PBS)

I think it would be a big hit. Look how popular Miami Vice and the Sapranos are. I'm sure the BIG SCREEN can mix the two and come out with a block buster. Remember this WAS South Fla. where the action and fireworks REALLY went on. I think the movie needs to be about the "times" in south Fla and not so much about Don. And Don would be one of the STARS of the time.
