Thumbs up It's been awhile since I have posted a Boating Video - 1600+ HP / V-Drive

Now I don't want you to think this is the "norm" where we are at, because it certainly isn't. K-Boats are primarily relocated to the race course, unless they are a play boat and they aren't exactly set on kill like this one is. But it is curious to know, what would it be like to cruise a K-boat on the river for a little bit, and then lay down some passes? FYI This boat raced and won the circle races this same Thanksgiving weekend at the Thanksgiving Regatta at the Bluewater Casino..

Hope you Enjoy the video!

To give you an idea of how fast that boat is running, this is the last pass I filmed with my I phone from the dock..

It is hauling ass.

With no safety, and no closed course it wouldn't be prudent to run it for all it's worth. We didn't have a GPS on the boat or anything. Driver (Tony Scarlata) estimated 120's in front of the bar. The boat has run 151 in the Kilo's. Setup for circle racing 130's / 140's in the straights.

I like how those boats turn. And they can take some wakes well too. I think he would even have blown away Elvis in the movie Clambake. For those who haven't seen Clambake, find it and watch while it is snowing outside. It wasn't set in Cali. though, was in Miami's marine stadium.
