I'll be around helping out. If you come up you might want to stay at one of the Casino's in Council Bluffs. It is about a 30 minute drive from the casino's to Cottonwood but there is a lot more to do at the casino's. I'll check and see if there is a band playing at Cottonwood on Friday and Saturday night.

Man that look's like a Fun event!! I surfed a couple of their site's and saw how those self proclaimed "River Rat's" Party!! Look's like my kind of people!!! I still can't believe that there are that many boat's running the Missouri River!! And to top it off they aren't fishing boat's!! I wish people did that here in Kansas City! But, maybe the water is a little different up there? Heck, in a couple of the picture's I saw people wadeing and tubing!! If someone down here is "In the River" it's never a good thing! It's usually means they are floating face down.

I think I even saw Griff's Pantera in one of the pic.'s, it was pulled up to a sand bar or something!?!

Well now for the Bad news I think I'm going to have to go to a wedding that weekend for one of Carrie's friends!

I have a trophy from 1996 that I need to defend, so the One Vision Active Thunder will be there. In fact, I talked with the owner, (Mac) of Cottonwood Marina yesterday, and one of the ladies in charg of the event, (Nancy) today. It sounds like these folks are gearing up for a great event.
Having spent some time in Omaha area, I can tell y'all that the "river rats" know how to have a good time. These folks can be pretty wild when they cut loose. Also, the Omaha riverfront/downtown area is pretty cool. A clean and safe place to party and have a good time.

Yes, that is too bad. With your hat you had on Sunday at Perry, you would fit right in on the river!

Hell, I didn't even know that was there until I started searching. I Finally found it under one of concert photo sections for the Anchor Inn.

Bad news for me too I have a wedding to go to at 2pm and can't get off work anyway to even get up there later in the day.
