Default Oil Changing Pumpout System

I want to purchase a pump that sucks the oil through the dipstick.
Any recommendations as to which one is your favorite and why?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

The best one I have used was a Jabsco, I can't remember the
model but it was a 2 1/2 gallon bucket with a 12 volt pump
attached to the top. It had a cable with two alligator clips to
attach to your battery. The pump will pump both ways so when you are ready to empty the bucket just turn the switch the other way. No dumping. Very clean, and reliable, cost about $ 100 got mine at West Marine.

Boat/US, on sale for $119 if they still have any in stock. The other brand they carry does same thing but is $149.

The West Marine one is great. Also order a drain kit for the pan thru Eddie Marine. Install this after the oil change. You will find oil left so be prepared. This kit gets all the oil in the pan and any sludge. Thru the dipstick is slower and does not get all the oil.

I've got the same one, works great if not all that quickly. I'd try www.boatfix.com - great prices.

I actually built mine with a Jab pump and a 5 gallon bucket since I have 2 motors to change. Sucks a motor dry in less than 4 minutes. Can change oil and filters in 30 minutes or less when I'm in a hurry That's pretty fast compared to the other hand pumps and drill pumps I've seen some friends use. Painfully slow.

Setting the bucket down and letting it do it's thing, while I'm changing the oil filter is a plus.

Thanks for the boatfix link.

I have the pump that connects to the drain plug. The pump mounts in the engine compartment. Turn it on and pumps it out in less than a minute. You can also use it to pump back into the motor. I have twins so there is also a manifold with valves. You can drain both or one at a time. West Marine for about $225.
