Oil prices

i remember when the oil shot up a few years ago and gas prices spiked!
What I don't remember was, ANYONE saying "this is exactly what the USA needs to jump start the economy".
Cheap oil may be bad for the folks in the fields but, it does help fuel the rest of the economy.

know someone in the industry who drills and does maintenance on wells in the Midwest. he told me back when oil was over 100 that things for him would be fine at 60-70...that was the cut off for "good" profit. talked to him a few days ago and he said the same thing again.

Well someone better make up their mind,,,,, polar opposite opinions.
It was the speculators that drove prices up last time,,,,, I never wish ill of anyone,,,,,but I hope they all lost their asses.

We've been screwed over so bad by the oil manipulators I will not feel sorry for them if they wind up at McDonalds cleaning toilets. People responsible for costing me $100 to fill up my truck (F250) should be sent to ISIS for an attitude check.

he can say that all he wants but what they are doing is stopping ours and others ability to profit by producing our own oil, whether we sell it or consume it ourselves. it takes more $$$$ to get ours (labor...regulations...oil location, grade of oil... etc.) when they figure out where the line in the sand is (pun intended) they will hold it around that mark...maybe its just below100 that's why he said that????
