Problem is anything over 45-50 and they get a tad bit breezy.

Cheeers, Toffen
Are you sure Toffen?
Less drag on the Sport Master.
I got a single performance tuned 350SCI on a 27 feet 24 degree stepped V-hull RIB.
I have retrofitted low water pick up (more drag).
The port side leaning problem because of the torque is hopeless and the drag of the enormous lower unit is slowing me down.
I'm sitting on port side and always have to use the port trim tab because of the leaning.
I have tried to move weight around. Even the engine sideways.
I'm upgrading to the 400r because of those problems.
I hope the sport master with cambered skeg will give less drag and leaning than the big HD lower unit on the 350.
I'm thinking a counter rotating lower unit will minimize the leaning to port side even more.
Many people say I must not go for a counter rotating lower unit, but they can't say why.
Less drag, less trim tab, more power and less leaning will bring back my smile.
So my questions are.
Is there any downsides I can't see going for a single counter rotating sport master gearcase ?
If it was possible to put a sportmaster on my old 350 it would save me a lot, but my dealer say it's not possible. Is he right about that?
