Default Mercury 1100-Powered Mystic C4400 Cat Tops 150 MPH in First Sea Trial

John Cosker and Scott Sjogren didn't have a lot of time in the new Mystic catamaran with Mercury Racing 1100s today, but things went well, http://speedonthewater.com/new-boats...irst-sea-trial.

Story includes a short video from the cat's first sea trial this evening.

Beautiful cat, I'm sure they'll find a few more mph if they put their minds to it. 150+mph is plenty fast to begin with.

Matt- did they run the M3900 CC too? I know it's a related but unrelated question

Congrats!!! That was the calculated speed with those props. Glad it worked perfectly on the first run.

They did not run either center console. Both are back at Mystic. As finished as they looked at the show, they still need finishing, not uncommon for new models debuted in Miami.

I know—because I reported it—their initial goal was to have at least one center console in the Miami Boat Show Poker Run. But they opted to get both models completely finished back at Mystic instead.

Makes perfect sense thanks for the update, looking forward to a future story by SOTW regarding the M3900's (sorry for the brief off topic)
