Angry Okay, I give up!!!

What am I doing wrong in the photo gallery?

I'm trying to upload our LOTO photo's and I have all of them sized at 640 x 480, and it keeps telling me they're too big! There are other photos there that size, why won't it accept mine?

I keep reducing the image size till it accepts it, but I don't like them when they are that small.

Please help.

MissAmy,
Try saving the picture at a lower quality setting. I normally use a setting of 5. The higher the quality the larger the file size. Leave the picture size at 640 x 480.

Amy, Dan's right, even though your photos are shrinked to the acceptable size, there is still a limit on the file size. You will need to lessen the quality in order to leave it at that size.

Good Luck,, can't wait to see them

Amy are you using photo shop to resize? If so then when you save them do a Save as, then it will ask you what quality. Lower the quality and you will be fine and hardly notice the difference. If you can tell me what version if Photo shop you are using I can be more specific. One version says to save for web use and another has a bar that you can move from side to side. Just lower the quality with the bar and you will be amazed at how much smaller the pictures are in file size with not much difference in the way they post

AAAaaahhhhhhhhh! Okay, I gotcha now. Thanks a lot for your help! I'll try to do one real quick before I leave for work. Then I'll post the rest tonight.

Thanks again!

Woohooo it worked!

I was getting so frustrated last night. I feel much better now, just wish I didn't have to go to work now!

Will post the rest later.
