I've HEARD the NXTs don't work that well. Just what I've heard. Don't mean it's true. But based on other things I've heard, the NXTs just aren't very fast and efficient. Never heard of it falling off a lift tho

Idk, it still is a 368 with wrap around windshield. If say still 200-225k
I of course could be wrong. Lol

IDK what it's worth (I don't recall the ad), but I wouldnt think there are too many people interested in shelling out over a quarter mil for a skater that I doubt even runs 120mph. 525's and NXT drives might be fine for a mid size vee, but neither belongs on a 368. The boat will always have limited resale value with this package, especially with those drives. Unfortunately converting over to 6's and either adding Whipples or swapping power will not be cheap.
In my (worthless) opinion, this boat is basically worth it's value in parts. In all likelihood, this boat will ultimately get stripped and refitted with the proper power/drives and the selling price will probably reflect that. But keep in mind, it's still a 368 with a wrap around windshield so the hull still has a lot of value!

I think this boat is a great foundation for someone who wants more of the late model look & wider tunnel. I agree most likely to receive a complete driveline upgrade. In the end someone built and owned a Skater that suited their needs regardless of the boats top speed. Not everyone that owns a Ferrari takes it to the track to see if they can mimick Road & Tracks performance claims, some just prefer to own a refined piece of machinery & enjoy their own way.
There's an older 32' Skater for $235k in the classifieds, I'd say TopCat is worth that & maybe even a little more. My guess it will sell for $250ish.

For someone stepping up from a 60-70mph V into a reliable, low(er) maintenance SKATER that has all the modern creature comforts - 120 would be flying with seating for 6 for just cruising around drawing attention in a nice 368
It's not listed as a contender for Pure Platinum...
I think Nascat is 100% on the money
