Going to get a lot more frequent flyer miles in this year on the water!

My boat or my dock? lol

It's all good. I'll tune up the Wave Blaster and prepare to bounce off some big transoms this year. When life hands ya lemons...

they are almost taking over all the lines that lake cumberland had, pretty soon you will find Randy Hartman there

Your right (except for the Randy Hartman part, lol), this is a very common strategy for some dealers in the country. As long as capital/floorplan isn't an issue, they carry as many lines as possible that have reasonable minimum stocking requirements. It only improves your product portfolio and essentially allows you to be a one stop shop. However dealing with 5 or 6 manufacturers will be a job of its own.

Back in the "good ol days", even Randy couldn't sell Cig and OL at the same time and he had to make a choice. With floorplans tightening and many dealers going out of business the dynamic has changed significantly since the downturn in 2008. The amount of manufacturers that have closed their doors is small compared to the dealers, which has opened up the opportunities for dealers like PBC and others to carry multiple competing brands.
