any one heard of the new 2003 f350 ford
 

looking to buy new truck .heard the new ford redesigned with body , new motor stronger than the duro max ? what have yall heard?

Yeah - we have one of those. Picked it up last Thursday and it conked out on us Sunday night with 323 miles on it. While the boat was still in the water and with no way to get home except the kindness of our friends. So we go to load it up and send it back to the dealership on a flat bed. That new engine is GREAT!

OK, this is what I know about the 03 f350(remember I've only got 323 miles of seat time so far)same base motor powerstroke but I guess they changed the injection some and the programming some they are sayin 525ft lbs of torque oh and it is quiter than the old one! I'll tell you this I had a 01 psd and this one feels like it will walk away from it!! The front end is a tad different it is just enough that you stand there and try and figure it out. Manily headlights and the drops in the hood have more of a corner than the roll(make any sense?). The suspension is different also this F350 rides like a caddy compared to the 250:rolleyes: And instead of 4x4 off road on the bed side it is fx4 and I'm still not sure if I like the red shock boots on the rancho shocks..

what all did they change from the 2002, some one said they put the cat motor in ?has new front end?

djm glad it worked out for you, i also have a imco vert. shaft and a bravo shop shaft if ever needed.

I wanted to make sure that my did not have the cat motor was told it would not be till late 03?

The Power Stroke is built by International.

Will have 525 ft.lbs. of torque. Same basic body, maybe a new grille.

they are going to change to a different motor(or at least playing with the idea)the tonka truck that they had on the show circuit this year and a camless desgin and was smaller cubic inch wise but more power and better mpg. I don't know if it was built by inter. or cat? The dealer said possibly late 03? Again going by hearsay..
