The F1 H20 Qatar Team have “frozen” their 2015 plans

We understand from various sources that the F1 H20 Qatar Team have “frozen” their 2015 racing plans.
The continuing fall out following the merger between the Qatar Sailing Federation and the Qatar Marine Sports Federation (QMSF) looks to now have had a direct impact on the financing of the F1 team.
Perhaps this will not come as a surprise to some, in the opening round of the 2015 World Championship last month, the Qatar Team fielded only one boat with Shaun Torrente at the wheel. His 2014 team mate Alex Carella had joined Abu Dhabi Team a week before the season started.
Merc Racing
Torrente put on a stellar performance in rough Doha conditions and took a well deserved race win.
Perhaps this will be the last trophy to sit alongside the incredible victories made possible by QMSF and their one time President Sheikh Hassan bin Jabor Al-Thani.
