Default Everglades Center Console 295

Are they as good as they look? Worth the premium?

I've never had the pleasure of driving one, but I climbed around a smaller one when I was in Florida, it seemed VERY well finished and rigged. The only thing I didn't like (besides the price tag) was the pilot house aspect of it. Loved the hard top and the bolstered leaning post, though.

I've met Steve Doughtery a few times, nice guy and great product (I really like their 243's). The only downsides to Everglades (other than price) is their fuel burn and lack of speed (heavy, non-step bottom). I saw their new 435 at the last boat show.......675K asking price, boat won't break 65 mph with 1400 HP hanging off the back!
