Default 9/11 rememberance

Someone posted about headlights as a remembrance of this day

I would like to offer a way for us here on OSO a way to show our support

Compliments of BajaDude's avaitar I would like to suggest people change thier avitar to some sort of symbol of togetherness.

I am only borrowing BajaDude's avitar until Thursday.
anyone else have other ways for us to show our support?

Hey buddy, that's a great idea! Unfortunately, I don’t know how to do that. Could you type up some instructions or point me in the right direction – thanks.

If you go to

OffshoreOnly Forums > User Control Panel For (username) > Edit Options, you'll see "Change Avitar" at the bottom of the screen.

If you click on the button, you'll be taken to a screen where you can use your own:

You can upload an avatar from your computer:, use the Browse button to select one you have on your PC. I think the size limit is 100 X 100.

I'll post a couple as well. You can right click on them and save them to your local disk.

Uncle Toys - right click on the avitar and Save picture as. The go to user options on the left of the screen. Choose user options again and at the very bottom there should be the choice to change avitar. Follow the steps there and you should be all set.

here is the best I can do
I am doing hte steps in another window as I type here
Before you do any of this you need to copy this or anyother avitar you wnat ot use to you computer
you need to remember where you put it
RIGHT click on the avitar
click SAVE AS
now when the box opens up REMEMBER where it says it going
most should say my documents or something like that
click save
now on any OSO board page go to the
upper left area of any page click on USER OPTIONS
middle of page click on EDIT OPTIONS
scroll to the bottom of the page and click on CHANGE AVATAR
this will bring you to antoher page
scroll down and click where it says use CUSTOM avatar
then click on BROWSE
this will take you to your computer files
this is where you need to know where you SAVED the previous file at. Find where it was
click open
then click SUBMIT
if you used another avaitar things shoud be great
if you do this with any other picture you will have trouble becasue the avitar needs to be a real SMALL file

BajaDude

Thanks for the use of the avitar

I know I used it with out asking
but you also seem like an understanding person to allow it

Thanks again and hopefully others have other types of avitars to use

edited spelling due to Nautigirl's request

more like I did not want to be referenced with Puder's spelling
