What happened to the outboard tech section .. Nothing about outies whatsoever on this site .. I know about the other site but there all running 20' and smaller boats.. :confused:

I hang out at the other site too.

I run a Skater.

It's bigger than 20'.

No offense intended for smaller boats I own a 18 foot bass boat and two 24 foot vees with twin merc.. I was just curios as to why there was absolutly no mention of outboards on oso ?? And when someone does the replies are usualy " go check out the other site" ...:rolleyes:

I think they simply removed it because it wasn't getting a lot of action. :(
I've seen a few posts lately about outboards and maybe if you ask in the Questions, Comments, Concerns section and say that you would like to see it placed back up maybe the BG will.
Times change and maybe there are more outboard people on the board now.

I think that most people just post the OB questions in the General or Tech section because of the heavy volume of traffic.
Sometimes we have to take the "egg beating" but it's all in fun.
I'm sure that if anyone on this board had an answer to a question that we needed they would help in a second.

I will say that S&F has some very knowledgable people on the subject of Outboards.
