I'm excited to see how the 318 and V run. I kind of prefer the flat deck with the windshield look though.

Dont worry all, I'm sure there is a deadline date on the 438... If it don't have an owner by that date, Ronnie will buy and finish it!! Lol

Matt- do you know if the 318 could handle 6s? Even if it could I doubt it would work all that great, or better than Arnesons for that size boat

Correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding is that the 318 is the same hull as the 338 skaters but does not have the bussel and is setup for outboards. If that is the case then the 338s sure seem to perform good with arnesons

You may very well be right. I believe the 318 can have IO power. I know when I was there and went to lunch with Pete last year after Skaterfest, he told me he was working on a new type of 30, and in fact he was building it so it could be rigged with IO power easier. And I believe this one is it.

Per Tony Cutsuries at Skater, the V-bottom in the story is 47-footer and hence the 478V. With all numbers flying around in our conversation, he misspoke ... no harm, no foul it happens. The important thing is getting it right and, if you don't, making it right.

We have corrected the errors in the story.

Carry on, gentlemen.
