My wife who has been in my boat once and acted as if she would never do it again just asked me to take her to Catalina for my birthday on Sept 28th. Looks like Ventura may not happen for me. Perhaps we could get together some other time. Isn't there an offshore race soon in San Diego Bay? I am ready to go just about any time if anyone is going out.

I joined OSO in October of 2000? but forgot about it till recently, so never posted until a few weeks ago. I do think we traded email a long time ago and am trying to forget the time I was in San Francisco, dot com thing and all. Can't remember where we met, but I do recall the reference to working on the RainX boat. I drove the boat in San Francisco Bay many times, but never anywhere else until yesterday. Between the new engine and our move it has been a year since I had the boat out. I guess thats why I'm trying to make up for lost time and go out more.
