interestingly enough all are owned by cloudflare which is the (****ty) distributed server/reverse proxy company for many websites including this one so it looks as though they have a hacker issue on their hands where someone is gaining access tot heir servers and getting a hold of usernames and then using their IP addresses to try and hack into the accounts of various sites they host
I got something similar in my email for a forum that I had not visited in probably 4 or 5 years just recently and I am not sure if they use cloudflare or not, but I doubt they do because I do not think they are very busy and would not need it
cloudflare basically has a bunch of (****ty) servers all over the WWW and if a site becomes popular at some particular period of time cloudflare will help (****tly) manage the traffic to that server to not overload it and if a company has more than one server hosting the same info they will help direct that traffic between the servers to balance the load
I believe they will also take a cached copy of some info and hold it on their own servers and distribute it to those asking for the page so that the page request does not actually hit the server
if any of you are members of TheHullTruth you have probably seen a page that says "this page is currently unavailable this is a cloudflare splash screen please retry or reload your browser for live content" (or some crap like that) which basically means cloudflare thinks that you are trying to do a denial of service attack on TheHullTruth server and they are stopping the traffic at their proxy before it hits the actual server.......but what it really means is cloudflare is just screwed up at that moment and not properly forwarding request to the server
I am 99% sure what the purpose of those making these attacks on the various members is about is to try and find a login they can use to spam the site with cheap chinese **** for sale or probably even more so hoping some fool will actually click a link to http://www.chindong,mightyboating.fa...p.org.biz.info and actually order some ****ty lead painted boating accessory filled with asbestos and and some dog treats made with melamine (boating parts maker got good deal dog treats buy buy) using a credit card they can then steal
