surface drive ? 211 four winns liberator
hey guys... i have a four winns liberator21 ft. i want to surface drive it. wonering what would be the cheapest route? arnesons are so expensive. but they claim a 30 percent increase in speed and efficency. what do you think would be a good route to go? thanks in advance.

I don't think you will gain much on that hull. Especially considering the cost involved. The Liberator isn't a very efficient hull. Someone told me once the Liberator is the cruiser with a lower profile deck (not sure if there is any truth to that). But your gonna spend a lot of money, probably more than the boat itself is worth, and your gains will most likely be very minimal..

I had a Santara 225 that used the exact same hull. Rounded keel and all.The only difference between the boats was the top cap. Everything else was the same. Best I ever got out of the boat was 61-62 with a 383/Alpha.
I think you'll go slower with the surface drive...
