When To Go To FL For Best Boating?
So I am on track to get another ocean boat (finally!) at the end of the year. I am looking at picking up a boat in south Florida and would like to spend about a week running around that area and maybe get all the way down to KW if possible.
I know they have the boat show and poker runs but not sure when they are. I will probably be ready right at the first of the year (after getting my year end bonus, woo whoo! ).
I'd be driving my truck out and towing back so will have a pretty flexible schedule. This is something I've wanted to do for many years and looks like the stars are finally going to line up for me so I want to make sure I can take the best advantage of this opportunity. I want to start making plans now so I have everything set when I go.
Thanks!

The Miami boat show is always in February. Really cant go wrong with a time of the year to go boating in south Florida unless a hurricane happens to hit while you are there. Mid to late summer gets really hot but the water is nicer from my understanding. Winter time is usually a nice high 70's to 80's type weather. We took my boat to Florida and did some south Florida boating February of last year and had a blast. Ran from Ft. Lauderdale to Key Largo then back. Good luck
