proped out or not ?
 

i own a 35 fountain single step with twin 500 hp carbs.i run 27 4 blade hydromotive props at 5250 and5300 at 84 mph ran stock 28 brovo 1at 5000 at80 mph. had 28 brovo 1 labed and now run 5300 -5400 at 83 mphmy question is do you think i can run a set of brovo 1 30 labed and drop my rpm to 5000 and pick up top end ?p.s. i dont care about loosing mid range.

Go to Hill Propellers web site and use there speed calculater. Its very simple and neat to use. Punch in the #'s you have now to check your slippage and then go from there. Have fun. :D Doug
