This thread has totally gone to sh!t. Were mistakes made? Absolutely. I can see myself making the same mistakes had I been at the helm. It's who we are or at least who I envision most people on this site being. There's no fvcking way anybody can armchair QB this because you weren't there and **** happens quick at 150. I've never been 150 on the water but I've been there and beyond many times on four wheels. When you're running 150 or so look in the distance as far as you can see make a note of that point because you're going to be there in just a few seconds. And it's not like they'd encountered the fog ten miles back. I don't know Stuart but I can't help believe he's me and you with deep pockets. I beat the hell out of my 85 mph tub to get to the lunch gathering before the 100 mph guys because I like to be tying up when they enter the no wake zone. Do I take chances and do things that aren't perfectly safe? Sure do and it's not because I like helping my buddies tie up, it's because I like being first. If I was in the position to do so I'd have challenged Stuart on his run and may have hit the damned buoy before he did. If you don't take chances life is pretty damned dull...................Oh yea, I also eat 10-12 eggs for breakfast EVERY morning and eat beef or pork EVERY night and have been for over twenty years. I don't live in a bubble and neither does Stuart. I feel sorry for those of you who do.

Good one. Like the torque wrench. He has a tool kit like my buddy except he is missing the hammer. All you need is a Crescent wrench and a file, but the video guy needs a hammer as well to complete the tool kit.
