Seems like these two boats could merge into one great boat for 100K!

Going off memory.....XXX was a light layup version of this boat and ran 125ish with 1075's. The newer Merc stuff seems to put out more HP than advertised, not so sure about the old 900sc's. So with 400 less HP and a heavier layup on an older twin step design I don't see it running any big numbers but it would surely look good at any speed!

I'm assuming because they are advertised on a U.S. based site, their price is in U.S. dollars. Even on Canadian sites, Canadians are asking for U.S. dollars on a lot of stuff. Old days before everyone and their dog was on the internet, you could make good money buying stuff in Canada and then sell it in the U.S. Make 25% on the exchange. Now most Canadians ask for U.S dollars or price it in Canadian with the exchange added into the price. Now on most things you might as well shop in the U.S. Still these examples are a good deal.

Just a guess on my part from what you can see in the picture. But they look like they are not swept back lowers. I think if that were the case they would not be dry, but wet sumps. I really don't know

Other problem is the baja transom would be cut for #6's so a guy couldn't put the baja back together with out filling and re-cutting the transom for bravo's or putting 6's back in it!

Funny I thought about the baja for parts, glassing the transom and cutting holes for bravo's then selling. Wet sump no good and way too much work .
47 comes with motor mounts, and driveshaft no exhaust or tails. Gonna take a lot of power to get that rollin............... Im sticking w my 42 gtx !!!!

Not to get off subject or bash baja but we're they ever built for that big of horsepower and drive configuration? I've been in a 38 special with 600's and it was a wild ride. Wonder how fast that boat went?
