Rock River info???
 

Greetings everybody,

I was wondering if there are any OSO members who go out on the Rock River in Northern IL ?:confused:

I need a water fix bad :o so a friend of mine invited me out on the Rock in their ski boat...( I must be desperate) :rolleyes:

Anybody know any good hangouts or decent shore bars ?? :cool:

Although I live outside out Rockford on the Rock, I don't boat on it with anything other than my jon boat. The river is well-named, and you need a good local knowledge fo where to go!
When our boat is running, and my trailer is actually capable of getting it somewhere:rolleyes: :mad: , we go to the Mississippi R. or to Lake Michigan.
Shoot a PM over to Active ThunderTodd or Consintracy- they have done a lot of boating on the Rock, and can give you a much better idea than I can on hot-spots!:)

Oh Lordy....this is the last post I'd ever think I'd see on here!!!!

We are in Beloit......(BE-LOIT).........yep, it dropped into the toilet!!! Did I just say that?!?!

Our local boating, consists of, about 5 miles!!!!! The only place to grab a bite to eat or a drink is a t!tty bar (if I were a guy...I wouldn't go there for a fix!!!! But, men are men....LOL.....,they think different than women!!!!)

Actually, from bridge to bridge would be a really good speed run!!! That's probably (guessing) about a 1-1.5 mile little speed test area......COULD BE FUN & INTERESTING!!!!

I'm game for a relaxing day on the little part of the Rock....But, don't think, you'd think, it was worth your time:)

But, what the heck.....A little day on the Rock & a bunch of laughs at a T!tty bar might actually be a fun day.....LOL!!! (Holy....Beloit wouldn't know what hit them with a bunch of Power Boats!!!!):D

Jafo.....damn it........atleast the 4 of us need to get out b4 the summer is over!!!! Even if it is on the Rock!!! PM us.....let's get together!!!!!!
